  April 10, 2007 - email from Thelma Lowe Snell, Dorothy's sister: "My sister, Dorothy, passed away in her sleep last night.....peacefully, in her own bed. Both Dorothy and Dave have had colds going on, which certainly didn't help Dorothy's already compromised breathing (constant oxygen and tube feeding for the past 5 or so years). Dave has given her such loving care through these past several years, so she was able to avoid hospitalization or a nursing home. And she was very grateful for that."
